Once you’ve reached the ramparts, slip into the narrow streets of the Medina. If you get lost, just ask how to get to the Saadian Tombs: the Sultana’s two steps away.

Prepare to live the Moroccan riad legend – the one where behind a simple wooden door, lies a kingdom whose existence no one ever dreamed of. It’s never been so true.

The ideal lovers’ retreat, the Sultana Marrakech is also a wonderful refuge for discovering Morocco as a family. A maze of hallways sends you strolling through the four buildings, each with its own distinct atmosphere. Moorish decor and Moroccan furniture adorn the 28 rooms and suites.

Choose the Dromedary, where the setting is both typical and delicate. Have fun spotting all the animal references. You’ll see, the bathtub is phenomenal! Keep the doors wide open between your quarters and the picturesque exterior living room in buffalo-leather and horn. It’s a great place to read, colour or chat the night away…

Food-wise, breakfast is served by the pool. Everything is delicious, and if you remember to bring down the pretty baskets, hats, slippers and towels provided in your bedroom, you can follow up with a dip in the pool next to the restaurant.

In the evening, everything moves to the panoramic terrace. On the menu, we include the view offered by the Atlas mountains, the effervescence of the city rising to your ears, a Ghanmi Seven Vegetable couscous followed by a Light Cream Pastilla with crushed almonds, and children having fun trying to find constellations in the sky… Bliss!
